Once your booking has been completed, form sent and booking fee received, we will check your booking details, allocate delivery and collection times and send a Booking Confirmation email to confirm. Please allow 24-48 hours for this and always check junk/spam folders.

Our expansive taproom offers the perfect industrial-chic backdrop for high-energy celebrations. From the first pint to the final dance, we provide the atmosphere, the drinks, and the world-class food to make your event legendary.


THE ROOM & AVAILABILITY

Our space is designed for high-impact gatherings that feel vibrant and full.
  • Capacity: 80 - 160 guests. (We require a minimum of 80 guests for your event, we have a big space to fill. Any less and you’ll be knocking around in what would seem to be an empty space!)
  • 5-hour exclusive session.
  • Timing: Private hire is only available outside of our public opening hours. (Fri 16:00 - 23:00 and Sat 13:00 - 19:00)
  • Saturday nights hire from 19:30–00:30 (Bar/Music ends at 00:00)

Additional Time: For non-Saturday bookings, you may request additional hours POA Additional hours are not available for Saturday night bookings.
PLEASE NOTE - We are delighted to host a wide range of celebrations and events at Green Duck Taproom. Please note that as part of our current venue policy, we are no longer accepting bookings for teenage or 21st birthday parties.

Whether you want the energy of a live performance or a curated personal soundtrack, our industrial-chic taproom provides the perfect stage.

  • DJs & Bands: We welcome live acts to bring the energy!

  • Curated Playlists: Prefer to be your own DJ? For a small equipment fee, you can provide a Spotify playlist or USB, and we will run it through our professional in-house sound system.

  • Safety First: We don’t want anyone getting their feathers ruffled! Like our musicians, all external vendors must submit their Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and equipment safety certificates (PAT testing) to us ahead of the big day.

  • Setup Timing: Please ensure your performers are aware that all setup must be completed within your 5-hour hire window. For Saturday events, they cannot begin setting up until 19:30.

We are unable to show every single price variation on our website because we deliver to lots of delivery areas and offer so many different types of equipment. Prices are charged per area, based on distance, event times, venue access details and the exact equipment required. ALL delivery and collection times are estimate only and are not guaranteed until we have checked your booking details and then allocated a delivery time and collection time to your booking order This normally takes us 24-48 hours but sometimes may be longer in our busier periods. We will always try our best to allocate your times required or offer an alternative.

Post Code Areas and charges: Our website will give you a price to deliver to a post code area, prices vary on distance. The further we travel, the more the hire will cost, to cover staff, time, fuel, and cover the distance for 4 ways travel. Post codes are area charges and not delivery charges.

Event times and charges:
Collections or deliveries after 5pm are charged more (see later collection options). Later collection charges are not delivery charges, they will be the event charge to cover the late event requirements, our day hire prices will always be cheaper.

We check all bookings, amend any booking and apply missed charges. The website questions should be answered to suit all your event requirements and it is your responsibility to ensure all options are correct at the time of booking. Booking fees will not be refunded if options are missed to avoid paying extra surcharges.

Not paying the booking fee will cause delays and wasted time, this could result in your order being cancelled, delivery and/or collection times not being allocated.

IMPORTANT OUTSIDE HIRE COLD WINTER MONTHS - UNFORTUNATELY WE DO NOT HIRE BOUNCY CASTLES OUTSIDE FROM 1st NOVEMBER TO 1st MARCH - THIS IS TO KEEP OUR EQUIPMENT CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED. IF YOU DO REQUIRE HIRE IN THESE MONTHS THEN YOU WILL NEED TO ARRANGE AN INDOOR VENUE OR HALL TO HIRE FROM OUR COMPANY. INDOOR HALLS AND FUNCTION ROOMS WILL BE WARMER AND HELP TO KEEP OUR EQUIPMENT IN THE BEST CONDITION.
