SAFETY TESTED BOUNCY CASTLES
Annually Tested Inflatables - Inflatables/Bouncy Castles must be tested annually, it’s the law! Here at First Class Leisure our inflatables are annually tested to HSE regulations which basically means a qualified inspector has checked our bouncy castles and approved the equipment for commercial use.

WIND SPEEDS and WIND GUSTS - PLEASE READ
NO BOUNCY CASTLES OR INFLATABLES SHOULD BE USED IN WINDS ABOVE 24mph or IF WIND GUSTS ARE SHOWING 24mph OR ABOVE which is Force 5 on the Beaufort Scale (small trees in leaf begin to sway). www.fcleventhire.co.uk
Wind Speeds are HSE regulations and ALL bouncy castle companies have to operate and abide to these regulations and standards. If your bouncy castle company cancels for wind speeds/gusts, heavy rain, storms, please do not then go to another company down the road who then offers you a bouncy castle, these are often cowboy companies who will put money before safety.

IF WE HAVE TO CANCEL YOUR BOUNCY CASTLE/INFLATABLE DUE TO WEATHER RELATED ISSUES.
Sometimes the good old British weather may cause problems to outdoor parties and events. If we feel the weather is dangerous or wind gusts are exceeding limits, we will make our checks and we will have no option but to cancel inflatable/bouncy castles going outdoors. Cancellation is something we do not like doing, but safety is this first priority and the only option and you will need to work with us and not against us.
Our company does not take any chances and does not take any risks when it comes to the weather, we know the outdoor safety rules and abide by them, to ensure and provide our customers the safest hire.
We have lots of equipment products so we will always work with you and try to offer you alternative options or non inflatable products, or you could arrange Indoor Venue to have your equipment set-up indoors. We check the weather all the time and will contact you ASAP with any concerns.

Please note: The above risk assessments above are only a selection of our equipment. Due to the amount of products we offer it is not practical to upload a PDF risk assessment document for every item of equipment. All risk assessments are generic and can be tailored and adapted to suit your own event needs and requirements. Our risk assessments are basic and provided without seeing the venue so on delivery we these may need to be changed/adapted on delivery/set-up. You the hirer may also need to provide more information and work with us before the event date in order to get your risk assessment correct for your event. You the hirer will also need to provide your own risk assessment for your event. It is impossible to risk assess a site without actually coming to the site, so our risk assessments are basic user guides which apply to all bookings.
What is a Risk Assessment?
Risk Assessment is a term used to describe the overall process or method where you Identify hazards and risk factors that have the potential to cause harm (hazard identification) and determine the appropriate ways to eliminate the hazard, or control the risk when the hazard cannot be eliminated (risk control).

These groups are an elite club for reputable, safe and insured bouncy castle hirers within the Midlands. We are friendly competitors who share common interests which ultimately, is customer safety. We are working hard to raise the standards of the inflatable industry with the aim to squash out the unsafe practices and equipment currently available around the Midlands.
Health & Safety & Insurance Rules
Our hire equipment is manufactured to the highest standards and meets commercial hire standard regulations built to British Standards BS EN14960. All our equipment is checked on/after each hire and is fully maintained and cleaned.
Insurance
Public Liability Insurance -

We carry £5m public liability cover with Leisure Insure, this gives you peace of mind and confidence when using First Class Leisure. Our Public Liability Insurance only covers OUR COMPANY against equipment failure. Please be aware that NO Insurance Company offers protection for 3rd Party users. In other words, you will only have FULL COVER on ours or any other hire companies’ policy' if we or they are supervising the equipment during use or if we/they are found to be negligent in our/their duty as a hirer in a court of law for unsupervised bookings. Our Insurance does not cover the hirer for any claim for damage, injury or loss to persons or equipment. Any accident will have to have been caused as a direct result of our/their negligence for hire only. We recommend that you check your household policy if hiring for a back garden or speak to your Insurers for advice and for events/public events. We strongly recommend you check you have the right cover in place for your event or alternatively contact our Insurance company to discuss options available.

Event & Party Day Cover Insurance Cover for Inflatable Hire
There are companies who offer this service or try your own home Insurance company and ask if they are able to offer you a day insurance cover policy for your event, if required.
'Strobe Lighting & Sound In Use’ (Disco Dome Hire)
First Class Leisure can not be held responsible for the way some people may be affected by strobe lighting/other lighting/sound/haze effect that may be used with Disco Dome hire, the hirer must check before booking the equipment is suitable for all users. Once equipment has been booked a cancellation charge will apply for any cancellation.
Disabled ball ramps and children's ball ramps (Skittle Alley Hire)
We offer disabled ball ramps and children’s ball ramps to help participants when playing skittles. These ramps are available with our Skittle Alleys and need to be booked in advance. Contact us for more details
Correct number of safety mats
We provide plenty of safety mats with our Inflatables and bouncy castles. We see lots of companies just putting one mat in front of a bouncy castle, this is dangerous and often done by cheaper and in-experienced companies. First Class Leisure take safety as top priority and cover all the possible danger point areas and impact falling areas.
Inflatable Set-up on hard standing floors
We always ensure our Inflatables are weighted down correctly on Indoor hard standing floor surfaces and use protective floor sheets under our Inflatables to protect the venue flooring. Not all companies do this.
For outdoor hard standing floor surfaces, a minimum 163kg weight is required per anchor point, 6-7 bags of sand per anchor point 42 bags sand per bouncy castle. For any hard standing floor surface areas, artificial grass, you will need to contact us to discuss your event details and any possible options available. Ofter we refuse hard standing outside set-up and must be real grass to be able to secure equipment correctly.
Bouncy Castles, Inflatables, Games, Other Equipment are SAFE PLAY as long as the equipment and users are supervised correctly at all times. Remember a cheaper price is not always a better service!
