Risk Assessments | Safety Assistance | Help & Advice For Your Event
If you have booked an event with First Class Leisure Event & Party Hire then we are always happy to supply Risk Assessments (if required), to help with safe operation with equipment hired. Please note a minimum 7 days notice prior to your event date will be required.
All our Risk Assessments are strictly for our customers only and you must have made a booking with us first.
If you have booked an event and have any questions please email info@firstclassleisure.co.uk along with your booking details, name, date and booking reference number.
Please remember you are hiring equipment from our company, so you will need your own Risk Assessments for your event.
If you are requesting Risk Assessments from our company, we will also request your Risk Assessments for your event operations prior to delivery, this will include all details of your event, set-up location, your power access, event plans and user numbers with the staff supervision you are providing, per item.

Please note: The above risk assessments above are only a selection of our equipment. Due to the amount of products we offer it is not practical to upload a PDF risk assessment document for every item of equipment. All risk assessments are generic and can be tailored and adapted to suit your own event needs and requirements. Our risk assessments are basic and provided without seeing the venue so on delivery we these may need to be changed/adapted on delivery/set-up. You the hirer may also need to provide more information and work with us before the event date in order to get your risk assessment correct for your event. You the hirer will also need to provide your own risk assessment for your event. It is impossible to risk assess a site without actually coming to the site, so our risk assessments are basic user guides which apply to all bookings.
What is a Risk Assessment?
Risk Assessment is a term used to describe the overall process or method where you Identify hazards and risk factors that have the potential to cause harm (hazard identification) and determine the appropriate ways to eliminate the hazard, or control the risk when the hazard cannot be eliminated (risk control).
5 Steps for a Risk Assessment:
1: Identify Hazards
2: Decide who may be harmed and how
3: Access the risks and take action
4: Make a record of your findings
5: Review the Risk Assessment
IMPORTANT - LATE REQUESTS FOR RISK ASSESSMENTS - Any request for Risk Assessments must be done at least 7 days prior to the event date and planned well in advance of your event. A minimum 7 days notice will be required for any Risk Assessment requests. Any last minimum or late requests for Risk Assessments will not be possible and will not be our responsibility, if this affects the booking in any way and a cancellation is requested, the hirer understands the booking will still be charged/payable.
